Where to begin! We want to start by thanking everyone that has been coming out (even in some horrible weather) to check out our shows! We are expanding our gig area and the response has been unbelievable. From Erie, PA to Buffalo, NY to Syracuse (#1 Basketball!!!!) , to Cortland and now upcoming gigs in Massachusettes, Pennsylvania, Albany,NY, and more...we thank you all!

BIG NEWS
While they have played with us for a couple of gigs now, the "official" announcement of our new lineup was made this past saturday at Shooters so we figured it was time to announce it on the website as well.
BIG EYED PHISH would like to welcome 2 new members joining us:
Nate DiMaria - Violin (seen in picture with Brandon - photo care of C7 Photography)
Nate has toured with another nationally-touring DMB tribute and recently moved back to his hometown of Rochester. With the departure of our previous violin player pending, the timing was perfect for him to step in. Nate brings with him a ton of stage experience and obviously a lot of DMB song experience! Nate has seemlessly stepped into a very difficult position for us and we know our fans will absolutely love him.

Peter has been a friend of Karl for quite some time and an aqcuintance of other band members as a result of an open mic many of us attend. While there was some fierce competition for this spot in the band, Peter came out victorious! Peter, like Nate, has instantly fit in with the band members. He is currently working on catching up on all of our songs and the way in which we play many of them. So far he has rocked and the audience has certainly enjoyed watching and hearing him.
We want to extend a huge welcome to both of these guys! If you haven't seen us in a while, now is the time to check us out! With a growing audience and new lineup, the show is better than ever. Their bio's will be up shortly on the website.

Big Eyed Phish is happy to announce we will be performing for the Haiti relief benefit at the German House along with a bunch of other great performers and bands!
ON FEBRUARY 4th, tickets will be discounted to $15!!!! So if you are interested in going and want to save a bit of cash, that is the day to get them!
ALSO COMING UP!
February 12th - The Stone Lounge in Cortland! We had a great time last time we were there and are planning on repeating that great time on the 12th!
February 13th - Teddi dance at St.John Fisher college. A 24 hour dance marathon to raise money for a great cause!
February 27th - After an awesome Halloween, we just had to go back to Shooters (the old Baird Road Pub). New owners did an awesome job with the place...so come on out to the east side and rock out with us and a bunch of hot bartenders.

2 new venues, 2 awesome shows...all thanks to you guys! The Westcott Theater in Syracuse and Club Infinity in Buffalo were huge hits! Thanks to the tons of people that showed up at each show! It certainly put smiles on all of our faces and hopefully everyone enjoyed the show!
TONIGHT - APUB LIVE - Rochester, NY! Hope to see many hometown fans there as we return home after a few out-of-town shows! 10:30pm
The kids (and teacher Mr.Webb) over at Cazenovia high school, as many know, did a 4-camera recording of the show at the Westcott Theater in Syracuse. They are working hard to put together everything and plan on releasing the video song by song on YouTube over the following weeks and months.
The first of the 20+ songs is up! Thanks so much to everyone involved in this and especially to Jason Webb for his hard work! Enjoy!

We are most definitely looking forward to the Westcott date as it comes closer and closer! We have heard enough interest from people in Rochester that we believe we can fill a coach bus to bring people to and from the show! The bus will depart around 6:30 on friday, Jan 15th, bring you to the show around when the first opening act will go on (7pm), and then will return after the show is complete (so probably around 1:30am or 2am).
We are not sure of where it will meet people yet, but ideas such as one of the malls have been tossed around.
So now the question everyone in Rochester is wondering...HOW DO I GET TICKETS TO THIS?!?!
To be part of this awesome bus experience, you will have to get tickets through the band. The cost is $30, which will include your bus ride there and back as well entry to the show. (There is a small chance we will be able to provide you with your first drink too, but no promises yet!).
Bring whatever you want to drink on the bus and have a great pre-game with 54 other people! No need to worry about DWI's or DD's or any of that!

We will be rocking out in downtown Buffalo on Chippewa Street for our first Buffalo performance outside of the college. Get your dancing shoes on and be there as an original fan of Big Eyed Phish in Buffalo!
SYRACUSE - Westcott Theater - 1/15/2009
This is a ticketed event and will include 1 or 2 opening bands along with us. Details as well as ticket information will be available soon. Tickets will be $10 in advance and $12 at the door. All-ages show, so bring your parents, grandparents, kids, etc!!!! There is talk that this show will be recorded in HD live using multiple cameras and such! Be part of the action as well as part of a live DVD concert taping which will likely be posted all over the net as well as used as future promotional material for us!
BUFFALO - Club Infinity - 1/22/2009
This will be our quick return to Buffalo. After our initial stop at Croc Bar, this will be a great show to bring all your friends to after you come check us out in December. We hope to hear lots of "I will be telling all my friends about the Club Infinity show" after you hear us at Croc!!!
We have a few dates in between there in Rochester at places like Lovin Cup as well as a show at A-Pub Live!!! So don't worry Rochester, we will still be playing around town for you guys to come check us out!
We want to send out a huge thank you to the hundreds of people that saw us at our Cortland show at The Stone Lounge as well as those that came out for the Cazenovia benefit at the high school. We had a fantastic time at both shows and got to meet some really great people. A big shout-out to Jason's media class at Caz for recording us live in video format! Everyone will be able to check out the video from that show soon enough, as they are working on editing and such currently!
EXCITING couple of months coming up and we hope you want to be a part of it with us!

Big Eyed Phish is really looking forward to the Halloween show at Shooters this saturday. Hoping to see lots of friends and fans there in costume. Maximum Tan is sponsoring a $500 sexy costume contest as well as providing quite a few other prizes! Going to be a great time!
We have added 2 new cities to our calendar recently!
The first is CORTLAND for Cortica Jug on friday, November 13th!!! Anyone that is unfamiliar with this, its a HUGE party for the football game between cortland and ithaca. We will be playing at the Stone Lounge, which has also given us dates in February and April. So this is definitely going to be a great time to be had by all!
The second is Cazenovia on November 14th, where we will be performing at the Cazenovia High School as a benefit for a senior girl who was rediagnosed with Leukemia. Come support her, her family, and the high school by joining us for this show!
Both shows will start around 7pm!!! Get there early as we are expecting quite the crowd for both of them!
(The guys at Cazenovia High School have created 3 "commercials" on YouTube for our show. Hilarious!)

Myspace is not quite what it used to be and Facebook has a way for bands to now have a page dedicated to them! We highly encourage everyone to become a fan of us on Facebook as that will be the main way (other than this website) to keep up to date with show information, song information, contests, pictures, videos, etc...!
Feel free (and please) become a fan and then take a couple of minutes to "Suggest the page" to your friends! We are not looking to break records of number of fans, but instead would like people to become a "fan" if they enjoy DMB's music and what we do!
